Made a cross-country trip with no problems.: I bought this kit to replace the old, worn out, hubs and bearings on my dual jet ski trailer in preparation for a move from Washington State to Central Florida. Like other reviewers, I was a bit concerned about the quality level, but decided to go for it. I’m glad I did. After installing this hub/bearing kit, I pulled that trailer 3200 miles across the country with no problems whatsoever. I probably averaged about 75 mph, with short jumps up to 80. We went through some freezing temperatures in the mountains and temps in the 90’s as we went further south. These bearings and hubs worked perfectly in all conditions. For full disclosure, I did pack the bearings with that popular Lucas Oil Sticky Red grease, so some shout-outs to them as well.

SIZE MATTERS: I measured my back set spacing wrong and these were not usable.. watch your hub depth
and.. after i did a nice job of rust proofing !!!!

Excellent service: When I ordered the hubs I knew I was taking a chance
Inexpensive and there is always that possibility that it may not work.
Well, after I placed my order delivery was going to be at least 8 days.
I was highly surprised that they arrived in 4 days “WOW”
Everything looked good except one item, the hub cap was damaged.
The bearings were perfect, hubs everything including the lug nuts. Everything I need it to fix one of my trailers, contacted the vendor about the damaged cap, the next day o received an email that a replacement was on the way. “Talking about service”
To my surprise I received not only the hub cap but a complete set of new bearings
    and interior seal cap.
They not only went above and beyond this vendor is about customer service
    Highly recommend them
From now on I’m not just replacing bearings when they wear out but I’m replacing the whole hubs,
a piece of mind for me,
    So the bottom line
    1) Inexpensive complete hub assembly
    2) excellent service
    3) I highly recommend them

    and last but most important
    Super fast delivery

Wrong Parts Shipped but Good Customer Service: Ordered set that clearly specified 1-1/16” straight spindles but product shipped had two correct bearing cones and two that did not match the cups (too big). Seals were also not right size to fit in the hub bore. Contacted seller and they shipped correct parts immediately. After that, everything worked well and fit perfectly. Make sure your trailer spindle has correct seal diameter. Parts are for 1-3/8” seal ID. Also may need to add a steel washer (hardware store) if the bearing to bearing dimension is shorter than yours. Easy install and don’t forget to pack with grease.

Decent quality – Poor packaging: Shipping packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Heavy items packed loosely in a cardboard box not a good idea. Box was beat to heck and tape broken open when I received. (Note to Seller, Bubble wrap is pretty cheap – might want to consider protecting the packaged components) Fortunately All the items were accounted for in the package. There was some slight marring on the parts but nothing that affected functionality. Overall pleased with the price point and the items received.

Great kit: Great kit, great fit, good deal. No complaints. No grease or cotter pin included. Went from rumblin’ & grumblin’ to smooth & silent.

New hubs.: These hubs didn’t quite fit my boat trailer. They were to long and the wheel lugs were too short. I have a machine shop and there was a lot of modification on the hub. I shorten the hub, bore the inner race dia. deeper and counter bored the back of the hub to let the bolts stick out further in order to bolt the rim. Also the seals were the wrong size for my spindle. It would of helped if the seller would have put more information on the description. Overall the hubs fit now and they look great. I was a tool and die maker and the modification was easy for me and I’m happy with them. So, my suggestion is, before you my any hubs, make sure you get all the dimensions before you purchase them, unless you have a machine shop.

Complete kit, easy to install.: Complete kit didn’t include cotter pin and grease. Otherwise great fit on my trailer.

Be sure to check the grease seal size.: This came with 1-1/2” ID grease seals. The spindle seal diameter wasn’t listed anywhere. I had to run to the auto parts store and get 1-1/4” seals. Not a huge problem, but the only thing keeping this from being perfect. The hubs were good quality and went together quickly.

I think Christ himself casted these from the great heavens.: Now the wheels on my boat go round and round, round and round, round and round, aaaallll the way home!

  21. ZukiGirl

Needed these: Trailer has passed inspection and these were easy to install. Only drawback is that the bearing covers didn’t fit.

  22. Lisa Todd

Hubs: Just what I needed to fix boat

  23. mgandrew

Just what I ordered.: I did make the mistake of placing the grease seals too far into the hub. Had to replace them

  31. Gary Stewart

Great value! Grease and install.: I have no cons. All hub parts are included and packaged well. Not a con but fyi. The hub bearings must be packed with grease before install. The bearing races are pre installed, that makes assembly very easy. Great value👍

LIBRA Set of 2 Trailer Wheels 5 Lug: Replaced my 4 lug hubs with these 5 lug for ease of finding trailer wheels. My trailer is a converted boat trailer 6’x12′ and a wooden floor. These hubs were easy to install. They do NOT come pre-greased so you need to grease them (sticky red grease). That takes longer than the entire install process. These are designed for a straight spindle and not tapered, meaning, they have 2 bearings the same size. Check your old hubs first. You will need, in addition to these hubs, new cotter pins (unless you can use your old ones), sticky red grease for high heat, a large pair of channel locks or a large crescent wrench, needle nose pliers, a rubber mallet and a little patience. Overall, it took me about 30 minutes per side to do these, including packing the bearings. These are pretty easy to install. If you have trouble, just youtube it. I recommend these very much.
