Stablizer jacks: Went on easy and did a good job stablizing the trailer. Large feet make it secure.

Super Stabil Jacks!!: These are awesome!! I replaced 2 of the OEM jacks on my 27’ Coachman Catalina after one of the front ones buckled. I made the mistake of only ordering 2 of the Bigfoots. They got here fast. Putting them on was a little bit of a chore because the holes didn’t line up. No big deal. I drilled a couple new holes and was able to use 2 already drilled holes. They came with the drill socket to screw in the new jack screws, the drill socket for raising and lowering the jacks and a crank handle to also raise and lower the jacks. We loved them so much because they were more stable then the OEM RV jacks especially with the large base plate. We wanted to get another 2 jacks for the rear, but every place was out of stock.

However, just got an email notification from Walmart that they were back in stock, so I checked LIBRA and they were in stock!! I ordered them up and they came 4 days before we were expecting them. This time I was surprised because they included 2 white sticker templates that showed where the holes would line up. I used this for drilling the new holes. Much appreciated this was included. Saved a lot of time and headache. It took me even less time to drill holes and mount the new jacks! I would highly recommend these. Almost no bounce with these. You can’t get just two, make sure to get 4!

Nice scissor jacks, not for lifting?: I find it ironic that these scissor jacks are not for lifting, although I think I know why. These are made for large RVs and large trailers which could easily push the limits of these scissor jacks.

I’m using one of these towards the front of my very small trailer home. It’s taking the weight off of the rear suspension of my small truck that I’m using to tow it. It works really well. The total weight of the trailer, fully loaded, is around 800lbs if I had to guess.

The good: these seem very well made. I was instantly impressed when inspecting them. Make sure to use dry lube on the hinges and the threaded rod. Makes it smoother to lift and lower.

Here’s the bad: the included screws are of terrible quality. There are voids in the metal and they seem poorly made. I used 3/8″ grade 8 bolts with prevailing torque nuts.

One of the platforms bent under the weight: Stability

More stability with the Bigfoot jacks!: Very nice stabilizer jacks!! These have a wide rectangular foot print rated for 5000 lbs. These replaced my worn out rear jacks on my 27 ft. Forest River Travel Trailer and I can tell a solid no movement difference!
I only deducted 1 star because these jacks mounting holes did not line up with my my old ones… It’s no big deal just had to drill new mounting holes to secure to the frame.
They give you (2) drill sockets, crank handle and mounting bolts to get them on the trailer.
These are a nicer up grade stabilized jacks then the factory OEM.
Well worth the purchase…you won’t go wrong!

Replacement is: Replaced existing jacks with these big foot model. Used existing brackets and made installation easier.

Review: This is the 2nd set that I purchased. Definitely heavy duty and beefy.

  9. woodwright

They are better than most: They where easy to install and did the job

  10. Burnett MD

Sturdy, easy to mount.: Bolted right on to the factory welded mounting brackets. Very sturdy. Highly recommended.

  11. Ray Welker

Best ever: Great and I will purchase this again if I buy a new trailer.
I tell all my friends that they need them worth every penny.

These work great to help stabilize our camper.: We use these between our camper wheels to add stabilization to the camper. Keeps my wife from shaking when I walk across the camper floor. Good value here.

  13. ronnie davidson

Great heavy duty quality.: Great quality. Not some cheap flimsy cheap metal. If you want heavy duty jacks, this is the ones to buy.

    Big Stuff: Best product

Better Stability !!!: Bought 2 to replace stabilizers on front of 26’ travel trailer. Someone mentioned in another review that the holes did not line up yes I also had to drill 3 out of 4 mounting holes but in the end the stability is worth it. There is not as much bounce as with the factory installed stabilizers & having the larger footprint is a bonus. I’m about to order 2 more… Happy Camping !!!

Excellent wide base 5000lb jack for lowered cars and lifted trucks!: I bought these to use as a low profile, high lift jack that I put in my lowered Acura Integra, and my Honda CRV.

I replaced my factory Honda scissor jacks with these. They are low enough for my lowered car, and high enough for my Crv. They are sturdy, support 5000lbs, have the widest base that I’ve seen for stability, and are lighter than my low profile high lift aluminum Jack.

So these are a perfect Jack or stability platform for low and high cars! This can also be used for campers or anything that you want to level or lift under 5000lbs.

I find these in particular to be awesome because of the ultra wide base. A travel Jack can often tilt the angle of the cheap stock thin travel scissor jack, as your jacking up the vehicle. This will ultimately lead to having to lower the stock scissor jack to reposition it, or the vehicle can fall off of the scissor jack.

Most people don’t haul Jack stands with them for an accidental highway or gravel road tire replacement. The thin base of the factory scissor travel Jack is thin and cause problems like the vehicle falling off of the jack white it is jacked up. I have had a factory scissor jack start to lean on uneven ground because it had a thin base, and the car did fall!

Pick up some wide base jacks so if you ever need to change your tire in an emergency, you can do so safely with a wider base platform for uneven ground.

Very Impressed: What a huge difference between the stock stabilizers and the Big Foot. The weight, sturdiness, quality, large footprint are a tremendous upgrade to the stock. Wish installation, I was fortunate that the Big Foot stabilizers aligned perfectly with the ones I removed so no drilling involved. Also the old stabilizers were installed with nuts and bolts so I was able to use them for the new Big Foot’s. Took me less that 40-50 minutes to install all 4.
