  1. Iowa Jim

Arrived complete and on time.: Trailer brake shoes arrived when they said they would. I didn’t know springs and pins were included, so nice surprise. No problem installing. Price was the lowest I could find.

  2. Randy Helzer

Great value, great fit on a 5200 lbs trailer axle: Work perfect.

  3. Dingo Michael

Measure twice: Worked as expected. And they were the correct size. Note to others, make sure to order the right size. (I had to return the first set because I eyeballed it.

  4. SpecialED

Fit as new.: Don’t like the fact that they are not riveted. But the originals are the same. The description said two pairs, which I took to be for one axle. Was for two. Sent one set back. Ori package hat only one set of holding pins.

  5. Tri-Z

Same except the cost.: Got these to replace grease soaked ones. They seem to be the same quality as Dexter. Pad thickness, size and backing plate metal. Installs the same, no different from what was removed. I will say the shoe hold down springs are not as nice. Dexter’s are 1 piece, easier to install. These are 2 piece, hold that while your holding the pin in place.
The price is right, just insure you put the right shoe in the right place. They have different shoe lengths. The shorter shoe goes in the front position on the hub. ( trailer front) From what I found. They can go on either side.
The pad is 3/16 thick and glued on the backing plate. No rivets.

  6. Jason

Quality brakes: Quality and fit were perfect, let’s see how they hold up over time

  8. sharon a jordan-parker

The value for your money: These brakes work fine they were easy to install no problems with them so far

  9. Gail Dominicis

Its what you need: GOOD: basic shoes and retainers for your heavy axle trailer
BAD: you probably need to order a spring kit at the same time – they dont come with the shoes, probably should
UGLY: a little better packaging would have kept the parts from rusting
